Weather

In March, temperatures in the UK typically range from 6°C to 17°C, with an average daytime high of around 17°C. It’s advisable to wear warm clothing such as suits, light jackets, trench coats, and thin sweaters.

When attending business events or formal meetings and receptions, please dress in smart attire. However, the UK weather can be highly unpredictable—spring showers are often brief and sudden—so carrying rain gear is essential. We recommend checking the real-time forecast before heading out each day.

The currency of the United Kingdom is the British pound (GBP). It’s advisable to exchange a reasonable amount of cash into pounds before you travel, and both cash and credit cards (VISA and Mastercard are widely accepted) are commonly used. 1 GBP ≈ 9.1965 RMB (recent exchange rate, for reference only). If you plan to shop, you can use UnionPay cards or credit cards bearing the Visa or Mastercard logo.

2. British people place great importance on personal space; when conversing with others, they try to maintain a certain distance, avoid standing too close, and refrain from physical contact.

3. In the UK, avoid pointing at people with your finger, as this is considered disrespectful.

4. Avoid discussing topics such as salary, age, politics, and religion.
