Entry Requirements
1. As of May 2024, travelers entering or departing the Netherlands are not required to complete a health declaration form. However, if you experience symptoms associated with infectious diseases—such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, or unexplained subcutaneous bleeding—or have been diagnosed with an infectious disease, you must proactively declare your health status to Dutch customs and cooperate with customs authorities in undergoing temperature screening, epidemiological investigations, medical examinations, and other public health quarantine measures. Failure to disclose your condition or evasion of quarantine may result in liability under applicable Dutch and EU laws; in cases where such actions lead to the spread of a quarantinable infectious disease or pose a serious risk of transmission, criminal liability may also be imposed.
2. Upon entering the Netherlands (which is part of the Schengen Area), you are required to undergo immigration control and customs declaration. Cash Declaration: If you are carrying cash, checks, securities, or other monetary instruments totaling more than EUR 10,000 (or the equivalent in other currencies), you must proactively declare them to Dutch Customs. Failure to declare may result in confiscation of funds, fines, or other penalties.
3. Prohibited and Restricted Items: It is strictly forbidden to bring in agricultural products such as meat, eggs, fresh fruits, and vegetables that have not undergone quarantine inspection. (The Dutch Customs enforces stringent controls on the import of animal and plant products; violations may result in confiscation of the items and imposition of fines.) Non-EU residents are entitled to a duty-free allowance of €430 per entry, while EU residents enjoy a limit of €300. Any amount exceeding these thresholds is subject to applicable customs duties and VAT.

Exhibition Participation Guidelines
Publicity Regulations
◆ All materials, including flyers and posters, must be displayed and distributed within the designated exhibition booth. Non-exhibitors are prohibited from displaying any materials in any area of the convention center.
Exhibit Freight
◆ When arranging for a freight forwarder, be sure to maintain close communication with the shipping company to stay informed of the shipment’s status at all times.
◆ Please bring the relevant documents (or photocopies) for inspection, such as the delivery order, packing list, invoice, and so on.
Exhibit Management
◆ During the exhibition, no exhibit may be removed from the venue. The organizer shall not be liable for any loss of exhibits; exhibitors are responsible for safeguarding their own exhibits. Empty crates must remain at the booth and be stored there; leaving empty crates or any items in public passageways will be treated as litter and subject to a cleanup fee.
Safety Matters
Special Note: Throughout the duration of the exhibition—during setup, display, and dismantling—please take care to safeguard your company’s exhibits and personal belongings. The organizer shall not be liable for any loss or theft of exhibits or personal items.
1. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to enter the exhibition hall.
2. Food is strictly prohibited from being brought into the exhibition hall. 。
Travel Advisory
1. Exhibitors are advised to carry their personal passport, Schengen visa, hotel reservation confirmation, airline ticket, invitation letter, insurance policy, and other relevant documents. For specific requirements, please refer to the applicable regulations of the airline that issued your ticket.
2. Bring an ample supply of brochures, posters, and other materials.
3. Mobile phone (with international roaming enabled), charger, power bank (3C-certified), and travel adapter.
4. Bring your toiletries and necessary clothing, and pack some of your regular medications—such as gastrointestinal remedies, allergy pills, fever reducers, and pain relievers—for emergencies.
5. Please do not place computers, batteries, or power banks in your checked baggage.
6. Exhibitors are advised to take note of the checked‑baggage weight limits applicable in economy class; any excess weight will incur additional charges. Specific size and weight requirements are subject to the airline’s official guidelines.
7. The Netherlands’ public transportation system includes subways, trams, and buses. You can purchase an “OV-chipkaart” (a universal Dutch transport card), which comes in various types such as single-ride cards, day passes, and weekly passes. If you plan to drive, be sure to bring your original Chinese driver’s license along with an English translation certified by a Dutch embassy or consulate in China (or an international driver’s license). Note that the Netherlands drives on the right side of the road, opposite to China, so please take extra care to adjust accordingly when driving.
8. During the Amsterdam trade fair, average temperatures range from 10°C to 22°C. Key styling tips: waterproof, windproof, layered, and versatile. The weather is typically cool with relatively frequent rainfall, so be sure to check the forecast and pack appropriate rain gear.
9. Time Difference: The Netherlands is currently observing daylight saving time (from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October), which means it is 6 hours behind Beijing Time. For example, if it is 8:00 a.m. in China, it is 2:00 a.m. in the Netherlands.
10. Local official language: The official language of the Netherlands is Dutch; however, in business settings, tourist attractions, airports, and other public venues, English is widely spoken—almost all service personnel are proficient in English—so exhibitors can communicate in English with little to no difficulty.
11. Attire: Please wear light, comfortable clothing; business attire is required during the exhibition.
12. Currency: The official currency of the Netherlands is the euro (EUR), with 1 euro approximately equal to 8.35 yuan. It is recommended to carry a small amount of cash for minor purchases at convenience stores, on public transport, and in similar settings. Major establishments such as shopping malls, hotels, and trade shows generally accept credit cards—primarily Visa and MasterCard—as well as debit cards; some also support UnionPay. Cashless payments are widely used in the Netherlands, and card payments are preferred for larger transactions.
13. Voltage: The voltage in the Netherlands is 230V/50Hz; please bring a European‑standard adapter plug.
14. The Dutch value privacy and efficiency; in business communication, it is advisable to state your purpose directly and avoid excessive small talk. A handshake is the customary greeting upon meeting. When giving gifts, refrain from presenting expensive items—these may be perceived as a burden—and opt instead for small mementos with Chinese cultural elements, such as tea or文创 products, ensuring the packaging is simple yet elegant. The white tulip, the national flower of the Netherlands, makes an appropriate gift; however, be sure to avoid giving 13 stems, as 13 is considered an unlucky number in the local culture.
