Information to be provided: includes personal details, passport information, travel itinerary, accommodation address, and health status.

Customs and Border Defense:
All items entering Thailand must be declared.
Thai customs imposes strict regulations on imported goods, including tariffs and value-added tax (VAT). Certain items—such as luxury goods, alcohol, and tobacco—may be subject to high tariffs.
When entering or leaving the country, each traveler may bring only 200 cigarettes and 500 milliliters of alcohol. You must carry 20,000 Thai baht (approximately RMB 4,000) or an equivalent amount in foreign currency—such as USD 700 per person; bank cards are not accepted. Thai immigration officers conduct random checks; insufficient cash will result in denial of entry. This regulation applies to all visa types, including those obtained upon arrival. It is advisable to carry cash; Thai baht can be exchanged at banks, or you may bring U.S. dollars.
Visa Policy:
Chinese citizens holding official ordinary passports and ordinary passports are exempt from visa requirements for entry into Thailand, with each stay limited to no more than 30 days.
Required Documents: To ensure a smooth entry, we strongly recommend that you thoroughly prepare all necessary supporting documents, including your passport (with at least six months of validity), a round-trip flight itinerary, and a hotel reservation. We especially advise keeping these documents in paper form, in case they need to be presented to immigration authorities.

Travel Advisory
1. Bring your original passport (with at least six months of validity), visa pages, invitation letter, insurance policy, a copy of the immigration card, and your round-trip flight itinerary.
2. Bring an ample supply of brochures, posters, and other materials.
3. Mobile phone (with international roaming enabled), charger, power bank, and travel adapter.
4. Bring your toiletries and necessary clothing, and pack some of your regular medications—such as gastrointestinal remedies, allergy pills, fever reducers, and pain relievers—for emergencies.
5. Please do not place computers, batteries, or 3C-certified power banks in your checked baggage.
6. Bangkok, Thailand is one hour behind China; the time is Beijing Time minus one hour.
7. Regarding currency, the Thai baht (THB): 1 Chinese yuan ≈ 4.5 THB. For reference only; please refer to the real-time exchange rate on the day.
8. In September, Bangkok’s temperatures typically range from 27°C to 32°C, with relatively high average daytime highs. It’s advisable to wear breathable, lightweight clothing, such as short-sleeved shirts, T-shirts, and light shorts or thin denim jeans. For business events or more formal meetings, be sure to bring smart attire. Given Bangkok’s intense heat and strong sunshine, remember to protect your skin with sunscreen and stay well-hydrated. It is recommended to carry medications for heatstroke prevention, insect repellent, diarrhea relief, and anti-inflammatory purposes. The Grand Palace in Thailand has strict dress code requirements: sleeveless tops, shorts, and flip-flops are not permitted; you can rent a sarong locally.
9. Bangkok’s electricity supply standard is similar to China’s, at 220V and 50Hz. All outlets are German‑standard two‑round‑pin sockets.
10. Tips: In most countries abroad, tipping is customary. Travelers are advised to carry some small-denomination bills for this purpose, to avoid awkward situations on short notice. Chinese tourists should follow local customs and pay appropriate tips in accordance with international practice—for example, 20 Thai baht for a photo with a ladyboy, 20 Thai baht per day as a bedside tip, and tips for hotel staff who arrange taxis, taxi drivers, restaurant and bar servers, room attendants, and bellhops, among others.
11. Over 95% of Thailand’s population practices Buddhism, which is regarded as the national religion, and temples are considered sacred spaces. When entering a temple, shoes must be removed—slippers are permitted inside but should be taken off outside the main hall—and attire should be neat and modest; tops must have sleeves, and bottoms must extend below the knees. Shorts, short skirts, and strapless tops are not suitable for the main sanctuary, and some temples provide aprons for visitors to borrow. Thais regard the head as the most sacred part of the body, so it is considered impolite to touch another person’s head—even out of affection or curiosity. When greeting someone, it is customary to perform a “wai”—pressing the palms together at chest level, with fingertips touching the brow and the body slightly leaning forward—rather than shaking hands. When offering the wai to elders, monks, or officials, the fingertips should be raised higher, close to the forehead; between equals, the gesture is moderate; and when addressing younger individuals, the hands may be lowered slightly.
