The Japan International Healthcare Exhibition (JAPAN HEALTH) 2025 will be held in Osaka from June 25 to 27, 2025. This international trade show brings together healthcare professionals from Japan and around the world, showcasing Japan’s cutting-edge technologies and medical services on the global stage, revitalizing Japan’s medical community and the broader healthcare industry, enhancing competitiveness, fostering innovation, and contributing to healthcare institutions, patients, and society worldwide. To ensure a smooth exhibition experience and travel arrangements, we have compiled below some relevant information for your reference and preparation.

Exhibition setup time


All booth construction Must be at Tuesday, June 24, 2025, 6:00 PM Completion prior to the event, including dismantling and removing debris and waste from the exhibition hall.

Booth Setup & Exhibit Arrangement (Exhibit placement, furniture arrangement, AV equipment setup, booth backdrop installation, and booth cleaning) Before 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 Finished Done.

Please prioritize your personal safety and, during installation, keep a safe distance from specially constructed exhibition booths, scaffolding, shelving, and other equipment or display fixtures that could pose a risk of falling or slipping objects. Avoid causing casualties.

Fire access routes and fire hydrants must not be obstructed. Paint or thinners shall not be stored next to the distribution box. Empty boxes, material boxes, construction and decoration materials, as well as any flammable substances… Materials must be removed from the exhibition hall and may not be stacked behind booths.

Exhibition Duration


Please note: To ensure the safety of all personnel within the exhibition hall, all booth power supplies must be switched on 30 minutes prior to the opening of the event and switched off within 30 minutes after closing each day, remaining de-energized at all times. If electricity is required outside these specified hours, please submit a request to the venue in advance and pay all applicable fees.

Exhibition closing time


Before 17:00 on June 27, 2025, Strictly prohibited Exhibitors and booth contractors shall dismantle their exhibits and booth structures. The organizer will impose penalties for any packing of exhibits or dismantling of booths carried out prior to this deadline.

The organizer and the exhibition venue shall not be liable for any items left in the exhibition hall after nightfall or beyond the designated closing time (22:00 on June 27, 2025).

🔹 Please note: Throughout the duration of the exhibition—during setup, display, and dismantling—please take care to safeguard your company’s exhibits and personal belongings. The organizer shall not be held liable for any loss or theft of exhibits or personal items.

Failure to complete by the aforementioned deadline will result in substantial overtime charges.

Exhibition Guidelines and Important Information

Badge Collection

All exhibitor badges, including those for on-site temporary staff, must be applied for online through the Exhibitor Engagement Centre’s Exhibitor Badges (S04) portal.

After your badge application is approved, you will receive an email from japanhealth@eec.informamarkets-info.com with a file named “Japan Health | Print Your” “Exhibitor Badge Before Your Arrival” email. Click the link in the email body to download and print your badge on A4 paper.

Notes on Rent Increases for Exhibition Equipment

1. Exhibitors who have added additional space prior to the show must bring their order forms and payment receipts for verification of delivery arrangements.

2. If the additional rental fee is not paid by the designated pre‑exhibition date, it will be deemed a waiver of the increase; please place a new order on site, with charges based on the on‑site supplemental pricing.

3. For on-site consultation regarding furniture rental increases, please proceed to At the entrance of Hall 6 Standard booth contractor Tohgashi Co., Ltd. provides booth consulting services.

4. On-site, no other contractors or equipment shall be permitted to perform mechanical work within the exhibition hall premises; all services must be booked through Tohgashi Co., Ltd.

5. During the exhibition period, electricity may be used for 30 minutes prior to each day’s opening; all electrically powered equipment must be switched off no later than 30 minutes after closing. Stand builders in the open‑space area are required to ensure that power is turned on or off on time each day of the event.

Exhibition Participation Guidelines

1. Intellectual Property Protection

Exhibitors must ensure that their exhibits, exhibit packaging, promotional materials, and any display elements of their exhibition booths do not, in any respect, infringe upon or violate the rights of others. With respect to all intellectual property rights—including, but not limited to, registered or unregistered trademarks, copyrights, design patents, trade names, and patents—exhibiting entities must hold valid certificates of ownership or appropriate licenses. The organizer strongly advises exhibitors against displaying samples whose intellectual property status is unclear. Should an intellectual property dispute arise on-site, the organizer reserves the right to require the exhibitor to remove any exhibits subject to such disputes.

Please note that Japanese law imposes strict regulations on the lawful use of registered trademarks. Using a registered trademark or logo without the prior authorization of the trademark owner, or displaying exhibits that infringe upon such trademark rights, constitutes a serious violation and may result in the confiscation of your exhibition booth at the event.

Special reminder: If any exhibit on display includes products that have not been approved in Japan, it must be clearly stated that such products are unapproved and may not be sold or distributed. In addition, the following text must be displayed alongside any unapproved exhibits. Please note that expressions such as “unapproved product” or “pending regulatory approval” are prohibited.

For more information, please log in to the Online Customer Service Center (Exhibitor Engagement Center), click “Manual,” and then select “Guidelines on Unapproved Products” to view.

If the aforementioned regulations are violated, you will be required to make corrections. Should you fail to comply with these corrective measures, your booth will be sealed off at the exhibition venue.

2. Matchmaking and Leadscan

To help exhibitors collect customer information more conveniently and efficiently, and to identify potential leads, we offer a paid Matchmaking and Leadscan service. This feature will be available through the Japan Health mobile app. Exhibitors can use the Japan Health app at the event to scan the QR codes on attendees’ badges and capture their contact details.

3. Reselling exhibition booths is strictly prohibited.

As the exhibition organizer, IM places great emphasis on booth‑use management and strictly prohibits reselling or unauthorized booth‑sharing. Any violation will result in adverse consequences for all future applications to Informa‑hosted exhibitions.

4. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Guidelines

During the setup and dismantling phases, exhibitors and contractors are responsible for ensuring the health and safety of on-site personnel. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must meet at least the minimum standards to prevent injuries. Mandatory requirement: All exhibitors and contractors must provide safety protective clothing that meets minimum standards, including safety shoes with toe protection and high-visibility safety vests. In addition, the standard requirements also include: safety helmets, protective goggles, and hearing protection.

5. Security of Exhibits and Personal Belongings

Throughout the duration of the exhibition—covering set-up, display, and dismantling—please take care to safeguard your company’s exhibits and personal belongings. The organizer shall not be held liable for any loss or theft of exhibits or personal items.

● Exhibitors are prohibited from standing on chairs, tables, or other rented furniture. All furniture is not designed to support human weight. Tohgashi Co., Ltd. shall not be held liable for any injuries, falls, or other incidents resulting from the improper use of furniture.

● The shelf installation is a temporary procedure; until it is securely fastened, there is a risk of slippage. Please maintain a safe distance during installation to ensure personal safety.

6. During the setup period (June 22–24, 2025)

1) During the setup period, please temporarily store your empty containers and waste inside your own booth. Do not place them in the aisles or near emergency exits, nor on other exhibitors’ booths. After the exhibition setup is complete, please collect all empty containers and waste and dispose of them in the designated trash bins located outside the entrance and exit areas of the exhibition hall.

Exhibition venue staff will conduct regular patrols, and violators will face substantial fines. Please take this seriously.

7. During the event period (June 25–27, 2025)

Please note: During the first two days of the exhibition (before 6:00 p.m. each day) and on the final day (before 5:00 p.m.), exhibitors are prohibited from leaving early or dismantling/packing up their exhibits. Any violation will result in a fine.

1) Please dispose of waste promptly during the event to keep your booth and passageways clean. At the end of each day, kindly empty all booth trash and discarded materials into the bins located outside the exhibition hall’s entrance and exit doors.

2) During the event, no goods or packaging boxes shall be brought into the exhibition hall.

3) Standard booth during the event period The use of electric kettles is strictly prohibited. If the entire exhibition area experiences a power outage due to boiling water, resulting in the inability to conduct normal exhibits, the exhibitor shall bear full responsibility and pay any applicable fines.

8. During the dismantling period (June 27, 2025)

Please note: On the exhibition’s final day, exhibitors may not depart early or dismantle/pack up their exhibits before 5:00 p.m.; violators will be subject to a fine.

1) After the exhibition concludes, you may leave general household waste and ordinary refuse at your booth. However, for special types of waste and materials—such as oversized or overweight items—you must submit a prior request to the venue’s waste‑removal department to arrange for their removal.

2) During the dismantling period, please take care to safeguard your company’s exhibits and personal belongings. The organizer shall not be liable for any loss or theft of exhibits or personal items occurring during this time.

9. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to enter the exhibition hall.





Four

Travel Advisory


1. Before traveling, exhibitors can log in to VisitJapanWeb (Immigration Procedures—Immigration Inspection and Customs Declaration) to pre‑enter the information required for immigration formalities and present the QR code during check‑in, ensuring a smooth entry process.

2. Exhibitors are advised to bring their items with them. Personal passport, hotel reservation, airline ticket, invitation letter etc.; for specific details, please refer to the airline of your booked ticket and the Immigration Services Agency of Japan ( Relevant provisions of https://www.moj.go.jp/isa/.

3. Exhibitors are advised to take note of the checked‑baggage weight limits applicable in economy class; any excess weight will incur additional charges. Specific size and weight requirements are subject to the airline’s official guidelines. For personal valuables, if the value of your items exceeds RMB 5,000—such as cameras, camcorders, laptops, iPhones, or other luxury goods—you must complete the “People’s Republic of China Customs Declaration Form for Baggage of Outbound Travelers” before entering customs upon arrival at the airport.

4. In light of the relevant regulations and requirements of Chinese customs regarding entry‑exit inspections, any items carried—such as cash exceeding RMB 20,000 (or foreign currency cash equivalent to USD 5,000), goods, samples, and advertising materials, narcotic and psychotropic drugs, cultural relics, endangered animals and plants and their products, biological species resources, and precious metals such as gold and silver—must be declared to customs.

5. Bring an ample supply of brochures, business cards, posters, and other promotional materials.

6. Mobile phone (with international roaming enabled), charger, power bank, and travel adapter.

7. Bring your toiletries and necessary clothing, and keep a supply of your regular medications—such as gastrointestinal remedies, allergy pills, fever reducers, and pain relievers—for emergencies.

8. Please do not place computers, batteries, or power banks in your checked baggage.

9. Time difference with China: 1 hour ahead; time = Beijing Time + 1 hour.

10. Local Temperatures: During your visit, average temperatures will fluctuate between 21°C and 30°C, with daytime highs around 30°C. We recommend wearing lightweight, breathable clothing such as cotton or linen shirts, light dresses, and thin T-shirts. For business meetings or more formal visits, please bring smart‑casual attire.

11. Currency: Japan’s official currency is the Japanese yen (JPY). It’s recommended to exchange an appropriate amount of yen in China before you travel. 1 RMB ≈ 20.14 JPY (recent exchange rate, for reference only). When traveling to Japan, you may bring yen, but the total amount must not exceed 1 million yen; amounts exceeding this limit require a customs declaration. For shopping, you can use UnionPay cards or credit cards bearing the Visa or Mastercard logo. Before your trip, it’s advisable to exchange some cash into yen in China, or withdraw yen at Japanese convenience stores using a UnionPay card. In most Japanese department stores and drugstores, WeChat Pay and Alipay are widely accepted.

12. Voltage: Japan uses 110V. Please ensure your charger is compatible. The power plugs are either two‑prong flat pins or two flat pins with a round grounding pin; cylindrical plugs and three‑flat‑pin plugs cannot be used in Japan. Exhibitors are advised to bring their own adapters.

13. When using chopsticks in Japan, avoid pointing at people, do not stick your chopsticks upright in a bowl of rice, do not pass food directly from one pair of chopsticks to another, and refrain from tapping your chopsticks against bowls or plates. Smoking is prohibited in most indoor public spaces, including restaurants and bars. Outdoors, be sure to use designated smoking areas. When visiting shrines and temples, observe local customs, such as washing your hands and rinsing your mouth before entering a shrine, and removing your shoes before going inside.
