To ensure a smooth experience for your participation and travel, we have compiled below some key information for your reference and preparation.

Exhibition Schedule
• Booth Setup & Exhibit Arrangement (Installation of exhibits, furniture, AV equipment, and booth backdrop, as well as booth cleaning) Please complete by June 1, 2025. Complete by 10:00 PM on Sunday.
• Failure to complete by the aforementioned deadline will result in substantial overtime charges.
• During the exhibition setup period, please take care to safeguard your company’s exhibits and personal belongings. The organizer shall not be liable for any loss or theft of exhibits or personal items.
Please note To ensure the safety of all personnel within the exhibition hall, all booth power supplies must be switched on 30 minutes prior to the opening of the event and switched off within 30 minutes after closing each day, remaining de-energized at all times. Any use of electricity outside these specified hours requires prior submission of a request to the venue and full payment of applicable fees before the event begins.
• Exhibitors and contractors are strictly prohibited from dismantling their exhibits or booth structures before 4:30 p.m. Any violation will result in penalties imposed by the organizer and/or the venue management.
• Dismantling of exhibition booths or packing up exhibits before 4:00 p.m. will result in penalties upon discovery;
• Exhibitors are advised to leave at least one person on-site to guard their booth during dismantling. If any exhibits need to be handed over, please ensure that you do not depart until the handover has been completed. In the event that exhibits are lost during this period, the organizer shall not be held liable.

Exhibition Guidelines and Important Information
Badge Collection
All exhibitor badges, including those for on-site temporary staff, must be applied for in advance online through the Exhibitor Badge Registration module of the Customer Center. WHX Lagos and WHX Labs Lagos will no longer provide physical exhibitor badges; attendees will gain access to the exhibition halls by scanning a QR code on-site.
After completing exhibitor badge registration, your registered email address will receive a confirmation email from badge.whxiagos@informa.con, with the subject line: “Your exhibitor badge is ready!” This email confirms that your electronic badge has been successfully registered. Click the link in the email to download your exhibitor e‑badge.
Please ensure that your company has fully paid the booth fee, exhibit transportation charges (if applicable), and any other outstanding fees (if applicable). Any unpaid amounts will be collected on-site.
Exhibition Participation Guidelines
1. Intellectual Property Protection
Exhibitors shall ensure that the exhibits, their packaging, and any promotional materials or display elements of the exhibition booth do not, in any respect, infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party. All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to registered or unregistered trademarks, copyrights, design patents, trade names, and patents, must be duly obtained by the exhibiting entity. Certificate of rights or license agreement: The organizer strongly urges exhibitors not to display samples with unclear intellectual property rights, and any intellectual property disputes that arise on-site will be handled accordingly. At that time, the organizer reserves the right to require exhibitors to remove exhibits subject to intellectual property disputes.
Please note that Nigerian law imposes strict requirements on the lawful use of registered trademarks; any use of a registered trademark without the prior authorization of the trademark owner is prohibited. Any trademarks, logos, or exhibits that involve the aforementioned infringement of trademark rights shall be deemed serious violations, and the relevant booths will be sealed off at the exhibition site.
2. Reselling exhibition booths is strictly prohibited.
As the exhibition organizer, IM places great emphasis on managing booth usage and strictly prohibits reselling or unauthorized booth sharing. Any violation will adversely affect all future applications. Informa hosts trade shows.
3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Guidelines
During the setup and dismantling phases, exhibitors and contractors are responsible for ensuring the health and safety of on-site personnel; personal protective equipment (PPE) must meet at least the minimum requirements. 4. Safety of Exhibits and Personal Belongings

● Exhibitors are prohibited from standing on chairs, tables, or other rented furniture. All furniture is not designed to support human weight. African Exhibition Services Ltd shall not be liable for any injuries, falls, or other incidents resulting from the improper use of furniture. 5. During the setup and exhibition installation period

6. During the event period (June 2–4, 2025)
● Please dispose of waste promptly during the exhibition to keep your booth and passageways clean. After closing each day, kindly empty your booth and deposit all trash and waste at the designated collection points at the exhibition hall entrances. Inside the trash bin outside the entrance.
● Standard booth during the event period The use of electric kettles for boiling water is strictly prohibited. If a power outage in the exhibition area caused by boiling water prevents normal display, the exhibitor shall bear full responsibility and pay any applicable fines.
7. During the exhibition withdrawal period (June 4, 2025)
Please note: During the first two days of the exhibition (before 5:00 p.m. each day) and on the final day (before 4:00 p.m.), exhibitors are prohibited from leaving early or dismantling/packing up their exhibits. 8. Minors under the age of 18 are not permitted to enter the exhibition hall.

Travel Advisory
1. According to the regulations of the Nigerian Immigration Service, all persons entering Nigeria via land borders, airports, or seaports must hold International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (commonly known as the “Yellow Book”) , Travelers entering Nigeria are required to be vaccinated against yellow fever. Therefore, exhibitors planning to attend events in Nigeria are advised to receive the relevant vaccination at an International Travel Health Center in their area at least 30 days prior to departure. 2. Exhibitors are advised to bring their items with them. 3. Bring an ample supply of brochures, business cards, posters, and other promotional materials.
4. Mobile phone (with international roaming enabled), charger, power bank, and travel adapter.
5. Bring your toiletries and necessary clothing, and pack some of your regular medications—such as gastrointestinal remedies, allergy pills, fever reducers, and pain relievers—for emergencies.
6. Please do not place computers, batteries, or power banks in your checked baggage.
7. Time difference with China: 7 hours behind; time = Beijing Time − 7.
8. Local Temperatures: During your visit, average temperatures will fluctuate between 21°C and 30°C, with daytime highs around 30°C. We recommend wearing lightweight, breathable clothing such as cotton or linen shirts, light dresses, and thin T-shirts. For business events or more formal meetings and receptions, please bring smart‑casual attire.
9. Currency: The local currency is the Nigerian Naira (NGN). 1 RMB ≈ 221.24 NGN. Please avoid carrying large amounts of cash; the equivalent of no more than RMB 20,000 in cash or the equivalent of no more than USD 5,000 in foreign currency is recommended. Credit cards (such as VISA and MasterCard) and UnionPay cards are widely accepted throughout Lagos.
10. Voltage: Lagos’s power supply standard is similar to China’s, typically 240V at 50Hz. All outlets in Lagos are British-style three-pin sockets.
11. Nigerians tend to be outgoing, straightforward, and generous, with a strong sense of etiquette. It is considered impolite to receive or hand objects with the left hand; using the left hand to offer something may be perceived as disrespectful. In some parts of Nigeria, the index finger is regarded as inauspicious, and pointing at someone with the right‑hand index finger is seen as a provocative gesture.
