Exhibition Guidelines and Important Information

03

I. Exhibition Pass Collection

Exhibitor badges will be available for printing only during the exhibition setup period, once the application has been submitted through the exhibitor portal. Exhibitors may provide their company name on-site, and staff will assist with printing.

II. Important Matters

1. Entry Requirements

Please bring your original passport, the page with your Turkish visa, your e-ticket itinerary, and the invitation letter (for exhibitors) for entry.

2. Fire Safety Reminder

For fire safety reasons, each booth is recommended to have at least one fire extinguisher. If needed, you may purchase one at the Exhibition Center Service Desk.

III. Other Routine Reminders

▪ During the exhibition period, power will be cut off for one hour each day after the event concludes. At that time, all water and electricity services will be shut down, unless you and the organizer have previously submitted a request for extended power usage or 24-hour power service.

During the event, no exhibits may be brought into or removed from the exhibition hall.

▪ Exhibitors are required to keep a close watch on their exhibits; valuable items should be carried at all times to prevent theft. Any liability arising from the loss, theft, or damage of exhibits shall be borne solely by the exhibitor.

After the exhibition concludes, the venue shall have the right to dispose of any exhibits remaining at the booth, including selling them. Exhibitors are responsible for removing all booth-related waste following the event. For any waste left at the booth after the exhibition, the venue will charge the exhibitor a waste disposal fee.

▪ Avoid damaging the booth’s structure and facilities to prevent fines.

IV. Pre-Exhibition Material Preparation

To facilitate the verification and confirmation of all relevant documents and information during the exhibition, please prepare and bring all pertinent exhibition materials (photocopies are acceptable) prior to your departure.

▪ Documents include: exhibit equipment rental extension order (with the organizing committee and the booth contractor), and payment receipt.

▪ Exhibition hall floor plan, the approved booth design scheme (including design drawings and textual information—such as lettering on the header panel), correspondence confirming key details, and contact information for relevant primary contacts (e.g., the head of the exhibit transportation company, the head of the booth contractor, etc.).

Travel Guide

04

1. Bring your passport’s information page, visa page, invitation letter, and round-trip flight itinerary.

2. Bring an ample supply of brochures, business cards, posters, and other promotional materials.

3. Mobile phone (with international roaming enabled), charger, power bank, and travel adapter.

4. Bring your toiletries and necessary clothing, and pack some of your regular medications—such as gastrointestinal remedies, allergy pills, fever reducers, and pain relievers—for emergencies.

5. Please do not place computers, batteries, or power banks in your checked baggage.

6. Time difference with China: 5 hours behind; time = Beijing Time − 5.

7. Local temperatures: The average temperature during your visit will be 8°C to 16°C. Daytime temperatures are typically around 16°C. We recommend wearing warm clothing such as suits, light jackets, trench coats, casual attire, blazers, business suits, and thin sweaters. For business meetings or more formal visits and receptions, please bring formal attire.

8. Currency: The local currency is the Turkish lira (Türk Lirası). Please note that there are relatively few places where UnionPay cards are accepted; it’s advisable to carry Visa, Mastercard, and UnionPay cards.

9. Voltage: Turkey’s standard electrical supply is similar to China’s, at 220V and 50Hz. All outlets in Turkey use German‑style two‑round‑pin plugs.

10. Waving hello is the most common greeting upon meeting; pointing at anyone with your index finger or the tip of your foot is considered impolite. Turkish people are very respectful and friendly toward Muslim tourists. Visitors may dress casually in Turkey, but swimwear is permitted only at beaches or swimming pools. Smoking is generally unrestricted in public, but it is prohibited in cinemas, theaters, buses, and shared taxis. Public restrooms on Turkish streets are pay‑per‑use, so be sure to have small change in Turkish lira.
