Entry Requirements
1. Effective from 00:00 on November 1, 2023, travelers entering or leaving the country are no longer required to complete the “People’s Republic of China Health Declaration Form for Entry/Exit.” However, any traveler presenting symptoms of infectious diseases—such as fever, cough, difficulty breathing, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, or unexplained subcutaneous bleeding—or who has already been diagnosed with an infectious disease must proactively make a health declaration to customs and cooperate with customs in undergoing temperature screening, epidemiological investigations, medical examinations, sample collection, and other quarantine measures. Failure to disclose such information or evasion of quarantine will result in corresponding legal liability; if such actions lead to the spread of a quarantinable infectious disease or pose a serious risk of transmission, criminal liability may be imposed.
2. Upon entering the United Kingdom, you are required to undergo immigration control and make a customs declaration. At the border, immigration officers will verify that your passport, visa, and other travel documents are valid and confirm your identity. When entering the UK (including England, Scotland, and Wales), if you are carrying cash—such as bearer bonds or traveler’s checks—in excess of £10,000 per individual or per traveling family unit, you must declare it to UK Customs; failure to do so may result in penalties, including a fine of up to £5,000.

Exhibition Pass: Registered through the exhibitor system’s backend; the organizer will notify exhibitors by email prior to the event.
Exhibition Participation Guidelines
1. Entering and exiting the exhibition hall
● Access to the exhibition center is permitted only with valid credentials. Please carry your pass at all times; individuals without a valid pass will be denied entry to the venue.
● The Coventry Building Society Arena is a smoke-free venue. Smoking is prohibited throughout the exhibition and during setup, both inside the exhibition halls and within your own booth.
2. Publicity Regulations
All giveaways, flyers, and samples may only be distributed within the exhibition booth and must not occupy public areas. ● Please leave empty crates on your booth and keep them under your own supervision. Any empty crates or items left in the public aisles will be treated as waste and subject to a cleanup fee.

Exhibitor Information Preparation
(1) To avoid any issues related to the confirmation and verification of documents or information during the exhibition, exhibitors are advised to prepare and bring all relevant exhibition-related documents prior to departure.
(2) The documents include: booth layout, standard booth equipment, booth number, additional rental orders, and payment receipts, among others.
(3) Confirmation letters regarding the exchange of important information, along with contact details of key stakeholders (e.g., the person in charge of the exhibit‑transportation company, the person responsible for poster printing, etc.).
Travel Advisory
1. Please prepare in advance the original valid passport, your UK visa, the invitation letter, your round-trip flight itinerary, and other relevant personal documents in hard copy to carry with you at all times. Do not, under any circumstances, place these items in your checked baggage!
2. Bring an ample supply of brochures, business cards, posters, and other promotional materials.
3. Mobile phone (with international roaming enabled), charger, power bank, and travel adapter.
4. Bring your toiletries and necessary clothing, and pack some of your regular medications—such as gastrointestinal remedies, allergy pills, fever reducers, and pain relievers—for emergencies.
5. Please do not place computers, batteries, or power banks in your checked baggage.
6. Time Difference with China: The United Kingdom is currently observing British Summer Time, which typically begins on the last Sunday in March and ends on the last Sunday in October. During this period, UK time is 7 hours behind Chinese time. For example, when it is 3:00 p.m. in China, it is 8:00 a.m. in the UK.
7. Official local language: English.
8. Local Temperatures: The average temperature during your visit will be around 11–24°C. Please pack appropriate clothing based on your itinerary. Rain is possible during the exhibition, so bring rain gear. With temperature differences between day and night, consider bringing a light jacket.
9. Attire: Please dress in light, comfortable clothing; business attire is required during the exhibition.
10. Currency: The official currency of the United Kingdom is the pound sterling (GBP). It is advisable to exchange an appropriate amount of pounds while still in your home country. Exchange rate between the pound sterling and the Chinese yuan (CNY): The exchange rate can be quite volatile; for example, as of 2025, 1 GBP ≈ 8.5–9.5 CNY (subject to the real-time exchange rate).
11. Voltage: The standard household voltage in the United Kingdom is 230 volts, with a frequency of 50 hertz. UK power outlets typically conform to the three-pin BS 1363 standard, featuring three sockets—two for the live and neutral connections, and a third socket usually grounded to ensure electrical safety.
12. Observe traffic safety. The United Kingdom is one of the few countries that drives on the left side of the road; this rule applies to driving, cycling, and walking (including standing on the left side of escalators to leave the right side clear for others). When crossing the street, look right first, then left, and obey traffic signals (at some intersections, there are “Push to Cross” buttons—press one and wait for the green light). Always wear a seatbelt when driving.
13. Tipping in the UK is not mandatory; it’s a gesture of appreciation for good service. For example, you can round up the bill after dining, or tip taxi drivers and hairdressers. You may also leave a small tip for hotel bellhops who assist with your luggage.
14. In the event of an immigration check, remain calm, provide a truthful account of your situation, and present any supporting documentation to facilitate smooth passage. If you encounter unfair treatment, be sure to preserve evidence and contact the Chinese Embassy or Consulates in the United Kingdom to report the incident and seek assistance.
15. Pay attention to airport announcements; at some airports, luggage carts are available for a fee, so it’s advisable to have coins or small-denomination bills ready in advance.
