The Uzbekistan International Medical Exhibition will be held on… April 15–17, 2025 In Tashkent Grandly inaugurated, this highly anticipated professional medical event in Central Asia has significantly boosted the robust growth of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors in Uzbekistan and across the region, highlighting the immense development potential of the Central Asian market. Held concurrently with the Uzbekistan Dental Exhibition, the event has, since its opening, enjoyed strong support and keen attention from the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Dental Association, the State Agency for Pharmaceutical Technologies, and the Tashkent City Government. To ensure a smooth experience for your participation and travel, we have compiled below some key information to assist with your preparations.

Please note

▶ Exhibitors may arrive at their booths one hour in advance. It is recommended that exhibitors enter the exhibition premises by 9:00 a.m. and wear their name badges at all times. (Entry and exit times will be verified by the scanner at the exhibition entrance security desk.)

▶ In accordance with Clause 2.18 of the Rules for the Organization of Work by Exhibition Stand and Exhibition Construction Contractors at the JSC NEC “Uzexpocentre,” contractors constructing standard exhibition stands shall use high-quality Oracle (self-adhesive film), a material that does not leave adhesive residue or stains on wall panels. We recommend displaying posters using roll-up banners, S-hooks, or folder hangers; alternatively, you can use double-sided mesh adhesive, which leaves no residue when removed.

▶ At the conclusion of the exhibition and during dismantling, please ensure that all wall panels are thoroughly cleaned; failure to do so will result in a fine. After your participation, please clean your exhibit panels and restore them to their original condition to avoid incurring penalties.




PART.03

Exhibition Guidelines and Important Information

Arrive at the exhibition, set up, and arrange the exhibits.

Upon arrival at the exhibition, all activities—including booth setup, exhibit installation, and stand decoration—must be completed between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on April 13–14, 2025. Please adhere to the following schedule and regulations:

▪ Only certified exhibitor contractors are permitted to carry out setup, exhibit installation, and booth construction between 09:00 and 18:00.

▪ If large or heavy exhibits require assembly, or if exhibitors or third parties need additional time to set up their booths, please contact the Technical Department by March 20, 2025.

▪ Entry into the exhibition hall is free during the designated setup and dismantling periods, and no badge is required.


Exhibitor Badge Collection

The exhibitor registration desk at the exhibition will be open on April 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on-site. Please complete your registration on time. If you arrive after 6:00 p.m. on April 14 or in the early hours of April 15, please register before the opening ceremony.


ITECA Organizer’s Office / Technical Services:

The ITECA organizer’s office will be open starting April 15, with operating hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Here, you can receive support from the Technical Department and the organizers.


Parking space

Parking will be available for attendees in the area surrounding CAEx.


Exhibition Hall Security Services

The CAEx exhibition hall will provide security services from 6:00 PM to 9:00 AM the following day; exhibitors are responsible for safeguarding their valuables. You may also arrange separate nighttime security for your booth. For any inquiries, please contact the organizer’s office. During public hours, your booth is your sole responsibility, and the organizing committee assumes no liability for any losses occurring between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.


Exhibition Hall Cleaning Services

The organizer will provide comprehensive daily cleaning of the exhibition area prior to the venue’s opening. For specialized cleaning services at individual booths, please contact the organizer’s office in advance.




PART.04

Entry Requirements

Effective March 1, 2021, Uzbekistan has implemented measures for China (including the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region). Citizens are eligible for a 10-day visa-free entry policy.

Please be advised: To ensure a smooth entry, we strongly recommend that you thoroughly prepare all required supporting documents, including but… Not limited to a passport, invitation letter, travel insurance, and return airline ticket, among others. . We strongly recommend that you prepare these documents in hard copy, in case you need to present them to border control authorities.

Travel Guide

1. Bring your passport’s first page, the invitation letter, and your round-trip flight itinerary.

2. Bring an ample supply of brochures, posters, and other materials.

3. Mobile phone (with international roaming enabled), charger, power bank, and travel adapter.

4. Bring your toiletries and necessary clothing, and pack some of your regular medications—such as gastrointestinal remedies, allergy pills, fever reducers, and pain relievers—for emergencies.

5. Please do not place computers, batteries, or power banks in your checked baggage.

6. Time difference with China: 3 hours behind; time = Beijing Time minus 3.

7. Local Temperatures: The average temperature during your visit will be between 10°C and 22°C. Daytime temperatures typically hover around 22°C. We recommend bringing lightweight long-sleeved or short-sleeved clothing to suit the warm daytime conditions, along with a light jacket or trench coat to handle the cooler mornings and evenings. For business events or more formal meetings and receptions, please prepare smart‑casual or formal attire.

8. Currency: The local currency is the Uzbek som (UZS). Please note that there are relatively few places where UnionPay cards are accepted; it’s advisable to carry Visa or Mastercard credit cards.

9. Voltage: Tashkent’s standard electrical supply is similar to China’s, at 220V and 50Hz. All outlets in Tashkent use European-style two-round-pin sockets.

10. As they are Muslims, they refrain from eating pork, dog, donkey meat, and the blood of any animal. They do not remove their hats during meals. They avoid picking at food, sniffing it, or touching and rubbing it. Before eating, they must wash their hands; after washing, they must not shake off the water but instead dry their hands with a towel. When eating naan, they should not put an entire piece into their mouth at once.
