PART 03
1. Overseas exhibitors wishing to display products/goods shipped directly from their country of origin at their booths may contact the organizer’s official freight forwarder, PT. Rogers Kinerja Gemilang, to streamline the shipping and re-export procedures.
2. In accordance with the General Administration of Customs’ Regulation No. PER-3/BC/2023 on bonded procedures during trade fairs, customs fees will be levied on the following supporting goods, such as:
A. Printed materials and exhibition items for promotional purposes, including decorations, posters, photographs, brochures, flyers, pamphlets, and advertising images;
B. Complimentary promotional items, including pens, lighters, wallets bearing the manufacturer’s or exhibitor’s name or logo, and the like;
C. Samples that are provided free of charge, non‑transferable, in special packaging, and in quantities less than the minimum commercial unit.
3. If a local distributor is available, it is recommended to have the aforementioned items manufactured through that distributor, as this may incur additional costs.
4. Pursuant to Ministerial Decree No. M.HH-02.GR.01.04 of 2024 issued by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, overseas exhibitors are required to obtain a Business C‑11 visa (formerly known as Visa Class 211) to avoid unnecessary complications at customs. For detailed information on the C‑11 visa, please refer to the following link: https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/.
5. Please refrain from buying or selling any goods within the exhibition area that have not been registered in Indonesia or do not possess a valid sales license. This rule applies equally to both Indonesian and international exhibitors. According to Article 36 of the Indonesian Health Law (2009): Section 1 of Article 106 stipulates that pharmaceuticals and medical devices may only be sold upon obtaining a distribution license; Article 196 provides that anyone who, in violation of Sections 2 and 3 of Article 98—namely, intentionally manufacturing or selling medical devices that fail to meet safety standards or pharmaceuticals that do not conform to their claimed efficacy—shall be subject to a maximum prison sentence of 10 years and a fine of up to IDR 1 billion; and Article 197 states that anyone who, in contravention of Section 1 of Article 106—namely, intentionally manufacturing or selling pharmaceutical products or medical devices without a sales license—shall face a maximum prison term of 15 years and a fine of up to IDR 1.5 billion.
6. Booth Setup: Exhibitors must adhere strictly to the designated setup schedule. The Chinese Pavilion will set up on the day prior to the exhibition’s opening. Any requests for early or delayed setup must be submitted to the Organizing Committee in advance; otherwise, no arrangements can be made. Prior to setting up your booth, please carefully review the setup regulations posted throughout the venue and comply with all venue requirements. Exhibition hall regulations prohibit the direct attachment of posters—whether with double-sided tape or other highly adhesive materials—to display panels. We recommend using “S”-shaped hooks for hanging. After the exhibition, all surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned to ensure no adhesive residue remains. It is strictly forbidden to damage the display panels by nailing, drilling, melting, or any other means. Any violations will result in penalties imposed by the exhibition hall. Exhibits must not extend beyond the designated booth area. Smoking is prohibited throughout the venue, and open-flame operations are strictly forbidden. If any exhibit equipment cannot be handled, the exhibitor may request assistance from the official booth contractor. Should damage to the exhibit equipment be caused by the exhibitor’s own actions, the official booth contractor reserves the right to seek compensation for the damaged items.
PART 04
1. Pursuant to Ministerial Decree No. M.HH-02.GR.01.04 of 2024 issued by the Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, overseas exhibitors are required to obtain a business visa (visa type: C11, formerly known as visa category 211).
2. Entry requirements for Indonesia: passport, separate visa page, electronic customs declaration form, printed round-trip airfare, and hotel reservation (subject to random inspection). Exhibitors are advised to use the self-service immigration channel to avoid being asked for unofficial fees by customs officials under various pretexts.
3. Exhibitors must complete the electronic customs declaration form 1–3 days prior to entry; once completed, save it on your mobile device and carry the paper copy with you for inspection.
4. After disembarking, you may proceed directly to the self-service immigration channel and enter by scanning your passport. If you choose to use the immigration counter, an immigration officer will verify your passport and affix an entry stamp. Should proof of your departure date be required, please present a printed copy of your return ticket or your travel itinerary.
PART 05
1. Bring your original passport (with at least six months of validity), visa pages, insurance policy, invitation letter, and electronic itinerary.
2. Bring an ample supply of brochures, posters, and other materials.
3. Mobile phone (with international roaming enabled), charger, power bank, and travel adapter.
4. Bring your toiletries and necessary clothing, and pack some of your regular medications—such as gastrointestinal remedies, allergy pills, fever reducers, and pain relievers—for emergencies.
5. Please do not place computers, batteries, or power banks in your checked baggage.
6. Time Difference: Indonesia is one hour behind China; the time in Indonesia is Beijing Time minus one hour.
7. Currency: Indonesia’s official currency is the Indonesian rupiah (IDR), also known as the Indonesian dollar. The exchange rate between the U.S. dollar and the Indonesian rupiah is approximately 1:15,100 (rates fluctuate frequently, and only U.S. dollars issued after 1991 are widely accepted). U.S. dollars can be exchanged at international airports, hotels, and other authorized locations. The exchange rate from the Indonesian rupiah to the Chinese yuan is roughly 1:2,000 (you can exchange yuan with your tour guide; however, the yuan is not widely used locally). U.S. dollars are commonly accepted throughout Indonesia. There are no specific limits on the amount of RMB or U.S. dollars you may bring into the country, but Indonesian rupiah must not exceed Rp50,000. Accommodation, car rentals, and tour packages are typically priced in U.S. dollars, while shopping, dining, and tipping are usually paid in Indonesian rupiah. (Note: Exchange rates fluctuate frequently; the above information is for reference only.)
8. In October, Indonesia’s temperatures typically range from 23°C to 32°C, with average daytime highs around 32°C. It is recommended to wear light, breathable clothing such as short-sleeved shirts, shorts, and lightweight skirts. Additionally, since October often brings occasional showers or thunderstorms, it’s wise to carry rain gear for unexpected weather. For business meetings or more formal visits, be sure to bring smart attire.
9. Indonesia is a Muslim-majority country, so please refrain from eating pork or drinking alcohol in public. Indonesians are accustomed to using their right hand for shaking hands and handling objects. Do not casually touch anyone’s head, including children, and do not point at people with your finger. When entering a temple, you must remove your shoes and dress modestly; shorts, sleeveless tops, or revealing attire are not permitted. Women who are menstruating should refrain from entering the temple. If anyone—especially a priest—is seated on the ground, one must never stand to his right. Avoid overly intimate behavior in public, as it may be considered inappropriate in the local culture.
