Travel Advisory

01

Items to Bring

1. Please prepare in advance paper copies of your original passport, valid visa, flight itinerary, EVUS registration, insurance policy, invitation letter, and other relevant personal documents, and carry them with you at all times—do not place them in your checked luggage under any circumstances!

2. Bring an ample supply of brochures, business cards, posters, and other promotional materials.

3. Mobile phone (with international roaming enabled), charger, power bank (3C-certified), and a travel adapter.

4. Bring your toiletries and necessary clothing, and pack some common medications—such as gastrointestinal remedies, allergy pills, fever reducers, and pain relievers—for emergencies.

5. Please do not place computers, batteries, or power banks (with 3C certification) in your checked baggage.

02

Time difference

Anaheim, California, USA, is 15 hours behind Beijing time (Pacific Daylight Time); local time = Beijing time − 15.

03

Weather

In July, Anaheim is hot and dry, with daytime temperatures ranging from 28–36°C and nighttime temperatures from 20–24°C; sunshine is intense, and rainfall is very rare. The exhibition halls are well‑air‑conditioned, resulting in significant temperature differences between day and night, as well as between indoors and outdoors. It’s advisable to bring a sun hat, sunscreen, and a lightweight long‑sleeved jacket.

04

Currency

The official currency of the United States is the U.S. dollar (USD), with 1 USD approximately equivalent to 6.79 Chinese yuan (based on recent exchange rates, for reference only). In the U.S., multiple payment methods are accepted, including cash and bank cards. Most shopping malls, hotels, and other establishments accept credit cards. It’s advisable to carry some small‑denomination cash in advance for tips and other minor expenses. You can also exchange a portion of your funds into U.S. dollars at domestic banks beforehand, or do so at U.S. airports, banks, and other authorized locations.

05

Electricity

The U.S. mains voltage is 120V at 60Hz, so most appliances from China cannot be used directly; the outlets are the U.S. standard—two flat prongs and one round hole—so be sure to bring a U.S.-style plug adapter.

06
