Exhibition Participation Guidelines
/02
01
Exhibitor Badge Collection
The conference has discontinued paper exhibitor badges. Please use your pre‑registered electronic badge (including the QR code) to scan and gain entry. If you require a paper copy, please visit the information desk in the entrance hall before passing through the turnstile for printing assistance.
02
Electrical Safety Guidelines
Each standard booth is equipped with a 2.3 kW lighting power supply and a European‑style two‑hole power strip (round sockets, with three outlets). If you plan to use demonstration equipment or boil water, please reserve additional power in advance to prevent overloading and subsequent power outages for your booth and neighboring exhibitors. Please bring your own compatible power adapters.
03
Booth Decoration Guidelines
When attaching posters to wall panels, please use the designated no‑trace adhesive; the use of ordinary clear tape, nails, screws, drilling, or paint is strictly prohibited.
The front of the information desk will be uniformly posted by the organizer; exhibitors are not permitted to bring their own banner displays.
Upon dismantling, the booth must be thoroughly cleaned, including all posted posters and products.
04
Waste disposal
During both the setup and dismantling phases, please dispose of exhibits and packaging waste properly at the designated locations. Do not leave items on exhibition stands or in aisles; failure to comply will result in substantial fines. The exhibition hall provides a free drop-off point for everyday small waste items. Please dispose of special waste (such as dyes, batteries, etc.) at the designated on-site collection stations. If you need to have empty crates returned, please contact the carrier in advance to arrange storage.
05
Intellectual Property Protection
Please do not exhibit pirated or infringing items; the organizer reserves the right to require the removal of any exhibits alleged to infringe. If found liable for infringement, the exhibitor will be barred from participating in future Düsseldorf trade fairs.
06
Security Prevention
During the exhibition, visitor traffic will be heavy. Please keep your valuables—such as laptops, mobile phones, and wallets—securely stored, and refrain from allowing strangers access to the storage areas at your booth. After closing hours, promptly secure your exhibits and materials to prevent theft.
07
Public transportation
Effective from 2022, exhibitor passes will no longer be valid as free public transportation tickets; please purchase separate tickets.
Important Travel Advisory for Entry
/03
🛃 Immigration Procedures: Upon arrival at a German airport, proceed in the following order: border control (present your passport, visa, and relevant documents) → collect your baggage → customs inspection (declare any items subject to declaration).
🛍 Duty-free allowance (for travelers aged 17 and above):
⚠️ Group purchases and shared tax‑free allowances are not permitted. The value of goods brought by exhibitors must not exceed €430; any amount exceeding this threshold must be declared to customs.
Local Living Tips
/04
Time difference: Germany is 6 hours behind Beijing time (Beijing Time – 6 = Germany Time).
Weather and Recommendations: In September, Düsseldorf’s temperatures typically range from 10°C to 19°C, with average daytime highs around 19°C. It’s advisable to bring warm clothing such as suits, light jackets, trench coats, casual attire, and thin sweaters. If you have business engagements, please pack formal wear.
Voltage/Outlet: Germany uses a 220V, 50Hz power supply, the same as in China. The sockets are Type F (German standard), featuring two round pins and two metal grounding clips on either side. Please bring your own German‑standard adapter.
Communication method: We recommend activating international roaming on your mobile phone or purchasing a local SIM card upon arrival.
Currency: Germany uses the euro. Please do not carry large amounts of cash—cash in RMB should not exceed 20,000 yuan, and foreign currency cash should be equivalent to no more than 4,000 euros. It is recommended to bring a chip-enabled VISA or MasterCard credit card.
Customs and Taboos:
Germans are extremely punctual, and being late is considered disrespectful.
When eating, use a spoon to drink soup; do not lift the soup bowl. Making noise at the table is considered impolite.
The numbers “13” and “Friday” are considered unlucky.
It is inappropriate to speak loudly in public; dress conservatively, avoiding overly revealing or casual attire.
