Quick Overview of the Schedule
⏰ Exhibition setup time: September 15, 2:00 PM–8:00 PM
Booth setup and exhibit arrangement must be completed by 8:00 PM; any delays will incur substantial overtime charges.
Please prioritize personal safety and stay away from specially constructed booths, scaffolding, shelving, and other equipment or exhibit fixtures that could pose a risk of falling objects.
Fire access routes and fire hydrants must not be obstructed, and paint or thinners must not be stored near electrical distribution boxes.
Empty containers, document boxes, construction materials, and any flammable substances must be removed from the exhibition hall and may not be stacked behind booths.
All personnel entering the exhibition hall must wear personal protective equipment (such as safety shoes and safety vests); otherwise, entry will be prohibited.
During the exhibition setup, please keep your exhibits and personal belongings secure; the organizer shall not be liable for any losses or theft.
⏰ Exhibition Duration:
During the first two days of the exhibition (before 5:00 PM), early departure or packing up exhibits is strictly prohibited; violators will be subject to a fine.
Turn on the booth’s power 30 minutes before opening each day, and turn it off within 30 minutes after closing.
Please dispose of booth waste promptly and empty it into the bins outside the exhibition hall after closing each day.
No temporary space rental services are available at the exhibition venue.
⏰ Exhibition closing time: September 18, 4:30 PM–7:00 PM
Packaging or dismantling exhibits is strictly prohibited before 4:30 PM; violators will be fined.
During the dismantling period, it is recommended that at least one person remain at the booth to supervise it; the organizer shall not be held liable for any theft.
Be sure to remove all posters affixed to wall panels or display fixtures; any residual adhesive or damage to the wall panels will incur additional charges.
All exhibits and waste must be removed from the exhibition hall by 7:00 p.m.; any items left behind will incur disposal charges.
Exhibitors are responsible for completely removing all materials, carpet tape, packaging, and waste from their exhibition booths.

Intellectual Property Protection
📑 Please ensure that all exhibits have obtained valid authorization for trademarks, patents, or copyrights. In the event of any intellectual property disputes at the venue, the organizer reserves the right to require the removal of the disputed exhibits; in cases of serious violations, the exhibitor’s booth may be sealed off.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
👷 During setup and dismantling, all attendees must wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including at least safety shoes and a high‑visibility safety vest; otherwise, they will be denied entry to the exhibition hall. Additionally, it is recommended to use a hard hat, safety goggles, and hearing protection.

Booth Usage Guidelines
⚠ Reselling or privately combining exhibition booths is strictly prohibited. Any violation will result in the loss of eligibility to apply for all Informa‑hosted exhibitions in the future.

Property security
🔐 Throughout the entire exhibition—during setup, display, and dismantling—please safeguard both exhibits and your personal belongings. Do not leave valuables in conspicuous locations such as the information desk or glass cases. During dismantling, we recommend that at least one person remain on site to guard your booth; the organizer assumes no responsibility for any losses or thefts.

Other Provisions
🙅 Individuals under the age of 16 are prohibited from entering the exhibition venue at any time (including during setup, the exhibition period, and dismantling).
🚫 Bringing food from outside is strictly prohibited inside the exhibition hall.

Yellow fever vaccination
Please get vaccinated against yellow fever at least 10 days before your departure and carry your “Yellow Book” (International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis), as you may be subject to random checks upon entry.

Cash and Goods Declaration
Individuals may carry no more than USD 5,000 in cash on their person.
High-proof liquor not exceeding 1 kilogram; low-proof liquor not exceeding 2 kilograms.
Liquid cosmetics such as perfume must not exceed 1 kilogram (perfume must not exceed 250 milliliters).
Tobacco products not exceeding 250 grams
Exceeds the threshold requiring declaration to and payment of duties to Kenyan Customs.

🔺 Plastic Ban
Kenya has implemented the world’s strictest plastic‑bag ban, prohibiting the carrying, use, manufacture, and import of all commercial and household plastic carrier bags and flat‑bottomed plastic bags. Offenders face up to four years in prison or a fine of 4 million Kenyan shillings (approximately RMB 260,000). Please be sure to comply and refrain from bringing any prohibited plastic bags into the country.

Time difference: Kenya is 5 hours behind Beijing Time (Beijing Time minus 5 hours).
Weather and Recommendations: In Nairobi, September temperatures typically range from 15°C to 26°C, with warm, comfortable days and cooler mornings and evenings. It’s advisable to bring lightweight long-sleeved shirts, blouses, and thin jackets; for business events, please prepare formal attire.
Voltage/Outlet: 220/240V, 50Hz. The outlets use British three-pin plugs (the same as in Hong Kong); please bring your own adapter.
Communication method: It is recommended to activate international roaming on your mobile phone before you depart, or to purchase a local SIM card upon arrival.
Currency: The local currency is the Kenyan shilling (KES). U.S. dollars and euros can be exchanged at currency exchange bureaus or banks, though banks typically charge a fee for such transactions.
Customs and Taboos:
The Kenyan people are warm and friendly, and always ready to help.
Please refrain from discussing skin color—locals dislike being referred to as “black” and prefer the term “brown.”
The number 7 and any numbers ending in 7 are considered unlucky.
