　　INDIA HEALTH is one of the leading exhibitions for the medical device industry in India. Organized by Informa Exhibitions, it further expands its reach into the Indian market, providing a vital international platform for business and networking within the healthcare sector.

　　As the inaugural India Health 2025 exhibition, the event kicked off with great fanfare from July 11 to 13, 2025, at Hall 6 of the Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Centered around the theme “Uniting Wisdom, Transforming Healthcare,” the show not only drew over 300 domestic and international healthcare brands but also brought together more than 8,000 global healthcare professionals for networking and knowledge sharing. Participating countries included India, China, the United States, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Nigeria, Nepal, and over 30 others. Concurrently, the exhibition featured a carefully curated program of more than 35 specialized conferences, with over 90 industry experts serving as speakers, thereby establishing a high‑quality platform for global collaboration and exchange in the healthcare sector. The event comprehensively showcased cutting-edge medical innovations and premium services, while also providing a vital opportunity for efficient resource alignment and discussions on the implementation of healthcare policies, thus laying a solid foundation for the transformative development of India’s healthcare market.

India is the world’s most populous country; by 2025, its population will exceed 1.46 billion, with the working-age population aged 15–64 accounting for 68%, providing a potential demographic dividend for economic growth.

India’s reliance on imports of medical devices has long remained as high as 75%–80%, with the United States, Germany, China, Japan, and Singapore ranking as the five largest exporters of high‑tech medical equipment to India.

India’s healthcare sector derives its greatest competitive advantage from low costs. Even compared with Western countries, private hospitals offer remarkably good value for money, which has fueled the rapid growth of medical tourism and high-end diagnostic services in India. This thriving “medical tourism economy”—where overseas patients travel to India for both leisure and treatment—has further boosted the business volume of private hospitals and increased demand for imported medical equipment.

According to the 2024 report by the Association of Indian Medical Device Industry (AIMED), approximately 20% of India’s medical device imports originate from China, with mid- and low-end products accounting for the majority. In rural India, 70% of used ultrasound machines and patient monitors are sourced from China, while Chinese-made disposable infusion sets, syringes, and other consumables account for 45% of purchases by private hospitals.

India’s Ministry of Health, in its 2025 White Paper on Healthcare Infrastructure Development, plans to add 600,000–700,000 hospital beds over the next five years, with an investment of US$25–30 billion. Private hospitals will account for 75% of this expansion, and their share of high-end medical equipment far exceeds that of public hospitals, directly boosting demand for imported imaging equipment such as CT scanners and MRI machines.

1. Complete the exhibition application form, ensuring that all information is accurate and error-free. 
2. Confirm the booth information, sign the exhibition contract, and pay the relevant fees as stipulated in the contract. 
3. Handle matters related to booth registration, banner production, the exhibition catalog, rental of exhibition equipment and booth construction, as well as exhibit transportation. 
4. Prepare exhibition materials such as brochures, posters, and business cards. 
5. Confirm the list of exhibitors and coordinate their exhibition schedules. 
6. If a visa is required, promptly arrange the relevant visa procedures for all exhibition participants. 
7. During the implementation phase, systematically advance all exhibition-related tasks to ensure the project is successfully launched and executed. 
8. Upon completion of the project, arrange for the issuance of invoices.
