According to the latest population statistics released by Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications as of September 15, 2025, the number of residents aged 65 and over reached 36.19 million, accounting for 29.4% of the national population—a record high. With the growing elderly population, demand for elderly care, nursing, and rehabilitation equipment continues to rise, further driving the expansion of the healthcare sector.
