The Algerian International Medical Equipment Exhibition (SIMEM) is Algeria’s most prominent medical‑equipment trade show and the country’s only specialized exhibition for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and dentistry. The event enjoys strong support from Algeria’s Ministry of Health, the National Council for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, the Trade Fair and Export Association, and other relevant authorities. SIMEM aims to help local manufacturers, producers, and traders in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors align with international standards, acquire advanced foreign expertise and technologies, and introduce cutting‑edge international technologies and equipment, thereby invigorating the domestic medical and pharmaceutical market.

With an exhibition space of 12,000 square meters, the event brings together over 200 exhibitors from 38 countries, including China, the United States, Spain, Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Kenya, South Africa, and Iran. The number of visitors exceeds 9,200, comprising healthcare professionals, senior executives and decision-makers, engineers and technicians, business development and sales personnel, and medical students, thereby further solidifying SIMEM’s pivotal role and helping to build a more modern, interconnected healthcare system.

Diagnostic and therapeutic equipment: medical technology devices, laboratory instruments, medical electronic equipment, diagnostic devices, ophthalmic equipment and protective products, surgical instruments, emergency and first-aid equipment, hospital and dental medical equipment, dental service equipment, and single-use medical products.

Digital healthcare: medical data processing systems, hospital information management systems, and telemedicine technologies and equipment.

Rehabilitation and Orthopedic Equipment: Dental and orthopedic surgical and rehabilitation devices, physical therapy equipment, rehabilitation training apparatus, and smart wearable rehabilitation devices.

Laboratory equipment: laboratory instruments, testing and measurement devices, microbiological equipment, laboratory safety gear, filtration systems, and instrumental analysis equipment.

Biotechnology products: molecular diagnostics, clinical laboratory supplies, biotechnology and scientific products, and laboratory consumables.

Rehabilitation equipment: orthotic devices, walkers, massage devices, health-care beds, medical beds, wheelchairs, protective braces, and health‑care apparel.

Home care products: home medical monitoring devices, household disposable medical supplies, and incontinence care products.

Pharmaceuticals: prescription drugs from abroad, herbal preparations, nutritional and health supplements, food‑based nutritional products, homeopathic remedies, and dermatological formulations.

Maternal, Infant, and Personal Care: maternal and infant healthcare products, infant food, personal hygiene products, and consumer health care items.

1. Complete the exhibition application form, ensuring that all information is accurate and error-free. 
2. Confirm booth information, sign the exhibition contract, and pay the relevant fees as stipulated in the contract. 
3. Handle matters related to booth registration, banner production, the exhibition catalog, rental of exhibition equipment and booth construction, as well as exhibit transportation. 
4. Prepare exhibition materials such as brochures, posters, and business cards. 
5. Confirm the list of exhibitors and coordinate their exhibition schedules. 
6. If a visa is required, promptly arrange the necessary visa procedures for all exhibition participants. 
7. During the implementation phase, systematically advance all exhibition-related tasks to ensure the project is successfully launched and executed. 
8. Upon completion of the project, arrange for the issuance of invoices.
